Create a fiscal year
Description
  • The maximum length for a fiscal year depends on the legislation you’re working under:
    • Germany: Twelve months
    • France: Twenty-four months
    • Spain: Twelve months
  • You can manage two fiscal years simultaneously
Cause
Resolution
  1. Go to the Fiscal year list.
    • Select Settings, then Accounting, then Fiscal years
  2. Add a fiscal year (Create).
  3. Enter a name (for example, 2024) and a description.
  4. Select a start date for the fiscal year.
  5. Enter the number of months, ensuring it doesn't exceed the maximum allowed for your legislation.
  6. Save.
    • The system creates the fiscal year and displays each open month
